We recently ran a Poem Competition on the forum. The theme the mums had to work with was kids & family life. We had so many fantastic entries we found it hard to choose the winner but we got there in the end!

I felt the magical feeling in my tummy,
that only mothers feel,
Movements, kicks and waves,
I grew that bond before you showed your face.
The love I feel for you my son,
Can't ever be explained,
You are my miracle and I love you,
More than words can say.
Tiny hands and tiny toes,
All movements I can see,
The day you came into this world,
Was such a joy to me.
Each morning when I wake,
I see your adorable face,
Each night before I sleep;
I kiss your face and say,
sweet dreams and night night.
So remember the love and bond we share,
No-one can take away this bond,
Between mommy and her son,
I love you more each day,
it’s the wonders of being a mom.
